2022 Rolling Knolls HOA Meeting Summary

We’d like to thank everyone that attended the HOA meeting in May at the Rolling Knolls Pavilion. There was a great turnout and lots of activity.

Board Officers

At the meeting we voted to elect 2 new board members:

President – Craig Hutson

Craig Hutson will be taking over the role of President for the next term year. Thank you to Deb Sirchia for serving on the board as President for the past several years. We value her work on the entrance signs project and she will continue to work on this project until the new signs are up.

Craig has served on the HOA board before and is aware of his duties.

Secretary – Margaret de la Fuente

Margaret de la Fuente stepped in as interim secretary last year and has been working on the website since November 2021. She has a good knowledge of computers and is working to bring the HOA communications up to date. She will continue to update the website with important announcements, events, reminders and local information.

Electronic Communications

In an effort to streamline communications and be cost effective, the HOA Board will be switching to paperless communications. We will be using email, texts, and website blog posts. If you were unable to attend the meeting and we do not have your mobile phone number to receive texts, please send us an email at rollingknolls123@gmail.com to update your contact information.

Reminders

We’d like to remind homeowners of a few regulations:

Pets

Section V of Rules and Regulations:

A. No animals, other than dogs, cats or other animals reasonably considered to be household pets shall be raised, bred or kept anywhere on the Property, nor shall any animals be kept, bred or maintained for any commercial purpose.

B. All pets must be leashed or restricted to a Lot Owner’s Property while outdoors.

C. Pets shall not be permitted to defecate on any Association Property or the Property of any other resident.  Pet owners must clean up after pets immediately if any accident occurs on any Association Property.

D. No pet shall be allowed to create a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance or to damage any Association Property or the Property of any other resident.

Trailers/Mobile Homes/Structures

Section 5 of Covenants and Restrictions:

Temporary Structure:  No trailer, mobile home, recreational vehicle, tent, shack or other structure, except as otherwise permitted herein or in the applicable Supplemental Declaration, and no temporary building or structure of any kind shall be used for a residence, either temporary or permanent.  Temporary structures used during the construction of a structure shall be on the same lot as the structures and such temporary structures shall be removed upon completion of construction.  The beneficiaries of the Developer shall be allowed to maintain the existing construction and sales trailer until a reasonable time after the sale of all Properties.
